Lingual braces are a discrete tooth straightening treatment that is fitted to the tongue side of the teeth.

What is the process behind getting lingual braces?

You will need to attend an initial consultation so that your orthodontist can decide if this is the best treatment course for you. Once this has been confirmed, a bespoke treatment plan can be drawn up to suit you. Following this, your orthodontist can take scans or moulds of your teeth, so that the brace can be created to an exact fit of your teeth, and the brace hardware (brackets and archwires) can also be an ideal fit. Once these digital impressions have been taken, your brace can be made up and fitted. Following this you will need to attend follow-up appointments so that your progress can be tracked. Our team at Park Lane are supportive and take the treatment period very seriously, providing the highest level of care.

Once treatment is complete, you will need to wear a retainer to prevent teeth from drifting backing into their original position.
